STEP 01
Select a package
Take a look through the packages I offer and select the one that fits best for your needs. Make sure you read through what is included in each package to confirm it is the one for you.
STEP 02
send me a message
After you pick a package, message me detailing what package you selected, clarify any details that might be important for me to know (such as special accommodations needed, concerns, etc.), and I'll reach back out to you through email as soon as I can to set up a time to chat.
STEP 03
make a plan
After you contact me I will send an email back as soon as possible asking to call or text. This way we can discuss all the details needed leading up to a photoshoot. We'll talk about things like date, time, location, price/payment method, etc. This is your time to ask me questions and to create a plan!
STEP 04
photoshoot!
Once we have a plan, it's time for the fun part! Please arrive on time, especially if we're racing the sunset, so we can use as much of the planned time as possible! We'll start with a brief chat about what the session will look like, look at some poses for inspiration if needed, and start shooting pretty quick. I'll give directions and we'll have a fun time!
Step 05
return photos
After the shoot, I'll go home and go through your photos, deleting the ones with blurry faces, closed eyes, poor lighting, etc. leaving me with the best options. I'll edit each one in Lightroom (and Photoshop if needed), add to this site under Clients, and send you a link to the gallery with a 4-digit pin so you can download as much as desired.
FAQs
What is my payment going towards?
Great question! The price of each package mainly depends on the amount of time spent taking pictures at the photoshoot and editing the photos afterwards. The rest of the payment goes towards updating equipment, managing storage for photos, and paying for editing and website subscriptions. Each of these things makes the experience better for both client and photographer. If you need a precise breakdown, I'm happy to share that info with you upon request.
what happens if we go under or over our planned time?
This is not usually a problem. Sometimes, I'm having so much fun that I don't even realize we've gone over time. I'm not going to be watching the clock waiting for the session to be over. The time included in your package is sort of a rough estimation. That being said, if we've reached our time and accomplished everything we needed to do, but you want to extend your session for another 30 minutes to an hour, I will ask to be compensated appropriately for the extra time.
what happens if there is weather on the day of our session?
Unfortunately this does happen sometimes. Can't control the weather! My plan for this is to simply reschedule or offer a refund if necessary. Keeping this in mind, it's always best to schedule as far ahead as possible from when you would need the photos back, so you have the option of rescheduling if needed.
what is your cancellation policy?
I completely understand that things happen sometimes. If something comes up and you need to cancel before your photoshoot, this is not an issue and I will issue a refund. If you request a refund after the photoshoot has already taken place, I will not be able to send back payment due to me already having spent the time and resources on the session. I'm happy to discuss this policy with you if you have questions or concerns!
Do you charge a travel fee?
The short answer for this is yes! But, the fee depends on the type of travel of course. If you want me to hop on a plane and fly to a different state, which I don't anticipate happening much for now, I would request the price of a plane ticket and more for lodging. If you want me to drive over an hour to a location of your choice, I would calculate how much travel would cost and add that to your total. If you want me to meet you somewhere locally, I will not charge for that! I'm happy to drive 30-45 minutes to come to you.
